Scoters are migratory marine ducks that are gregarious and are often found in large flocks. They are found along northern European coasts and in lakes and rivers from Russia through to northern Britain.
The Common Scoter drake (on the right) is depicted swimming and is sculpted from lime tinted with chinese ink stick and finished with wax. It is 12 cm (approx. 4.75") in length and is signed by the artist. A female Scoter (on the left) is also available.
