Puffins are auks and swim like penguins under water to catch fish. They nest in colonial burrows on steep cliff slopes around northern European coasts including in Britain.
This Puffin is swimming on the sea surface. The Puffin is sculpted from lime, tinted with chinese ink stick and finished with wax. It is 12.5 cm (approx. 5") in length and is signed by the artist.
